Extreme safety and comfort during laser interventions: user interfaces for precise control
In medical technology, ergonomically designed foot controls are crucial for the precise operation of diagnostic, therapeutic or cosmetic laser devices. User interfaces have to meet the highest safety requirements and simultaneously be operable without fatigue – especially in the OR.
The innovative foot controls from steute Meditec have been developed especially for laser devices and meet the relevant standards EN 60601-1 and EN 60601-2-22 for e.g. mechanical stability, protection from unintentional actuation and specific actuation forces. In addition – independently of the medical application in question – defined protection classes are required in accordance with IEC 60529.
A redundant set-up further increases the operational safety of the controls. In addition, the connecting cables, bushings and enclosure seals are all finished to the strictest standards, enabling IPX8 to be guaranteed across the entire life cycle. The user interfaces from steute Meditec all feature high-level mechanical robustness, proven by intensive testing.
The user interfaces can be individually configured to meet the specific requirements of different laser applications.
